PDFShed (the "Service") is operated by Express Services Group ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PDFShed provides a collection of free, browser-based PDF tools. All file processing is performed entirely within your web browser using JavaScript and WebAssembly. This means:

• Your files are processed locally on your own device
• Your files are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party servers
• No user account or registration is required to use the tools
• The Service is provided free of charge

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may add, modify, or discontinue any tool or feature at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PDFShed only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:

• Process, create, or distribute content that is illegal or that you do not have the legal right to handle
• Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems
• Use automated means to abuse the Service in a way that degrades it for other users
• Use the Service in any manner that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. No Warranty

The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the output of any tool will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of any important files and for verifying results before relying on them.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Express Services Group and PDFShedshall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or files, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Because all processing occurs on your own device, you assume full responsibility for the files you process and the results you obtain.

6. Intellectual Property

The PDFShed name, logo, website design, text, and software are owned by Express Services Group and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute the Service's content without permission.

You retain all rights to your own files. The documents you upload into the tools remain yours. Since your files are processed only in your browser and are never transmitted to us, we neither claim nor obtain any ownership of, or license to, your content.

7. Third-Party Content and Advertising

The Service may display advertising provided by third parties, such as Google AdSense, to help keep PDFShed free. These advertisements and any linked third-party websites are not controlled by us, and we are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

8. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in California.
