About This Tool
Split PDF by Size breaks one PDF into several smaller PDFs, each kept at or below a file size you choose. It is the quickest way to get a large document under an email or upload limit without dropping any pages.
Pages are packed in reading order until adding the next page would cross your target, at which point a new file begins. Everything comes back in a single ZIP.
All processing happens in your browser, so your document never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
What if one page is already bigger than the target?
That page becomes its own file. A PDF cannot be split below a single page, so compress it first if you need it smaller.
Are the exact sizes guaranteed?
Each part is kept at or below your target where possible. Because PDF structure adds some overhead, choose a target a little under any hard limit.
Do my files get uploaded?
No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to a server.
