About This Tool
Split PDF by Text divides a document into separate files, starting a new file at every page that contains a word or phrase you specify. It is ideal for batches like statements or invoices where each record begins with a known marker.
The tool reads the text on every page, marks each match as a split point, and returns one PDF per section in a single ZIP.
All processing happens in your browser, so your document never leaves your device.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work on scanned PDFs?
Only if they have a text layer. Image-only scans contain no selectable text, so run OCR first, then split.
Is the match case-sensitive?
By default no. Turn on the case-sensitive option if you only want exact-case matches.
What about pages before the first match?
Any pages ahead of the first match are kept together as the first file so nothing is lost.
